I just started using a program called Windows Live Writer. You can get it free from Microsoft. It allows you to write and publish directly to your blog. You don't need any HTML knowledge - and you can add pictures, video's etc.
Below is a video that was posted on Youtube. It was made by students in the high school my daughter teaches in. The first 5 people who guess who my daughter is get 10 extra points. J I did this whole post including the video in Live Writer.
