Saying it like it is

Saw a great book at Borders the other day devoted to the abused, but well used term: "What an Asshole" Now with a title like that, I was immediately drawn to the cover to uncover, what indeed this provocative title referred to. Well, imagine my delight when I discovered that the book is focused on the abuses of supervisors and higher ups who make what could be great working lives, miserable ones because of their "asshole" behavior. I also discovered that the author was serious, not making jokes as to how and why this term is used so often. What is then given are several rubrics to indeed determine if the reader could freely apply these rubrics to their working conditions. Believing as I do that plagiarism is a serious business, I shall refrain from citing the rubrics and let you find the book and apply them to your own lives... I walked away, amused, but equally enlightened, muttering to myself: "What an asshole" as I filed through a series of people I hope--HOPING no one applied those rubrics to me!!!
